An infant needed an operation for a scrotal condition.

Bilateral orchidopexy2. What condition did the child have?
Bilateral undescended testes3. What are the problems of not treating this condition?
Subfertility, hypogonadism, possible decreased risk of testicular cancer if treated early. Certainly treatment before twelve months of age improves testicular function.Further reading
